What is Bottoms Up?
Bottoms Up is an Arts and Music Festival, co-produced by The Arts Asylum and The Fishtank, honoring the history of the West Bottoms and celebrating the end of Heritage Week. It's FREE to join us as you enjoy a selection of local artists, craft beer, food, coffee and explore the urban core of the West Bottoms!

How To Bottoms Up With Us!
Leave your worries at home and join us for a day on the trolley. You'll be treated to awesome stories about three historic neighborhoods in Kansas City and be driven around from location to location as you sample food, music, coffee, art and performances from local artists. The Trolley will run on a loop throughout the day so you can come and go as you please!
If you prefer to skip the trolley and drive yourself, we'll have some off-street parking as well as on-street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Friday May 1st:
Concert at The Black Box 6-9pm:
Doors at 5pm.
- Opening Act TBD.
- Headliner: The Freedom Affair at 7pm
Saturday May 2nd:
- Open Studios at the Arts Asylum, Pendleton Arts Block, The Egg, and NE Chamber of Commerce. Hop on the trolley or adventure on your own!
